Our Olive Tree Restaurant offers our guests and members of the public freshly prepared cuisine with top class service in an elegant and charming atmosphere. We welcome you to enjoy delicious freshly cooked food, with dishes from our a la carte, grill menus and blackboard specials, using fresh local ingredients and produce where possible by our chefs.
The beautiful painted ceilings and eye catching chandeliers offer a unique setting in North Devon to dine for all occasions.
The Olive Tree Restaurant is located in Northam just outside of Bideford and within 5 minutes’ drive of Appledore, Instow, and Westward Ho!

Food is served in the restaurant from 6pm – 8pm on weekdays.
Food is served in the restaurant from 6pm-8.30pm Fridays & Saturdays.
Whilst the restaurant is open on Monday & Tuesday evenings, this will not be table service.

Our team of experienced chefs have worked hard to produce an exclusive menu that includes both a la carte and grill cuisine. Whether you’re a meat lover or a vegetarian, our menu includes something to whet your appetite. From succulent steaks and fresh fish, to tasty stir fries and tarts, we have a dish and accompanying wine to suit. Plus, be sure to ask about our Daily Specials for our latest signature dishes.
We are mindful to use the freshest, locally sourced produce wherever possible and take great pride in hand preparing all meals on site. For the little ones, we have a carefully devised children’s menu which offers smaller portions of child-friendly dishes.
Our delicious a la carte and grill menus are available from 6-9pm, Monday to Sunday. If you have special dietary requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us before your visit – we’ll be more than happy to prepare something just for you.
